Scope of service.
Blackhawk Detail Co. provides mobile cosmetic vehicle cleaning and appearance services within the Tri-Valley
area of California. Services are cosmetic only. We do not perform mechanical repair, bodywork, paintwork, or
electronic diagnostics.
Vehicle condition and pre-existing damage.
The client acknowledges that detailing can reveal, but does not cause, pre-existing wear. Blackhawk Detail Co.
is not responsible for pre-existing clear coat wear or failure, existing paint defects, scratches, swirls,
oxidation, rock chips, or previously repainted or resprayed panels, interior leather cracking, peeling, dye
transfer or fabric deterioration, or legacy electronic issues including but not limited to sensors, cameras,
screens, speakers, window motors, and door or trunk mechanisms. Aftermarket parts, wraps, aged trim, and
previously damaged surfaces are cleaned at the client's own risk.
Client responsibilities.
The client must provide a safe, level, and legally accessible driveway or parking area, plus outdoor water
spigot and standard electrical outlet access within 50 feet. The client must remove all valuables, firearms,
medication, cash, and personal items before service. Blackhawk Detail Co. is not liable for items left inside
the vehicle.
Damage claims.
Any claim of damage caused by our service must be reported to Blackhawk Detail Co. in writing within 24 hours
of service completion, with photographs. Claims reported after that window cannot be verified and will not be
accepted. Where Blackhawk Detail Co. is found responsible, liability is limited to the cost of repair of the
affected area or the amount paid for the service, whichever is less. Nothing in these terms limits any
liability that cannot be limited under California law.
Deposits and cancellation.
A deposit may be required to reserve an appointment. The client forfeits the deposit if the appointment is
canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time, if the vehicle is unavailable on arrival, or if
required water and power access is not provided. Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance may be
rescheduled or refunded.
Right to decline or adjust.
Vehicles with excessive soiling, biohazards, mold, infestation, or unsafe conditions may be declined or
re-quoted on arrival. Severe weather may require rescheduling.
Results and pricing.
Listed prices are starting rates for standard-condition vehicles. Oversized vehicles, heavy pet hair, and
heavy soiling may require additional charges quoted before work begins. Results vary by paint and interior
condition. Detailing improves appearance but cannot restore surfaces beyond their existing condition.
Governing law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, with venue in Alameda or Contra Costa County.
By booking, the client agrees to these terms.
